Mornings at Sugar Hill Children’s Museum: Annette St. John
July 18, 2019
Sugar Hill Children's Museum | 11:00am - 12:00pm | Free: Children under 8 and all others with museum admission
Born and raised in Harlem, Annette St. John grew up in a very artistic family that influenced her musical style: equal parts jazz, blues, standards, and gospel. She has performed all over Manhattan, including at the Apollo, the Blue Note, and The Cotton Club. In recent years she has led her own groups. Annette always says, “It’s Not Work If You Love What You Do!”
