Sharp Radway is a pianist, composer, arranger, and author. He is a protégé of Dr. Randy Weston. With his roots in the church, he has done extensive work among different denominations, and with major gospel artists like J.C. White and Edwin Hawkins. In the jazz realm he has worked with many luminaries, including Yusef Lateef, Benny Golson, Hamiet Bluiett, Curtis Fuller, Fred Wesley, Bucky Pizzarelli, Diane Schuur, Nnenna Freelon, and Nicholas Payton. He also served as music director, pianist, and arranger for The Celebration of Lionel Hampton Big Band and The New York City Ska Orchestra; published “Musicianship 101 (What They Don’t Tell You In School)”; and appeared in film ("Cadillac Records") and theatre ("The Connection") productions. Today he presents a solo piano concert.
