Join us for an outdoor concert with world class musicians from the Jazz Foundation of America. Queens native Kim Clarke is a sought-after bassist in both the jazz and R&B realms, best known for her long association with jazz legend Bertha Hope and the influential funk group Defunkt. In 2015 the Jazz Journalists’ Association named her a New York City Jazz Hero, in large part due to her founding of the long-running Lady Got Chops Festival. This show features a special all-women lineup:
