Comprised of distinguished members of the New Orleans' music community, Louis Ford and his New Orleans Jazz Flairs lend excitement and class to the New Orleans Jazz Museum for a Friday performance. From the beloved Big Band songs of the 1930's and 40's, to New Orleans traditional favorites of the past and present, Louis Ford and his Flairs do it all and they do it well.
Louis is a fifth generation musician. His father, Clarence Ford was a phenomenal musician whose career spanned three decades and also performed with Fats Domino and many other jazz greats. Louis yields from an impressive legacy of musicians which can be traced back to the Storyville days. Like his father, Louis an accomplished clarinetist and saxophonist and truly dedicated to the preservation of jazz.
This event is free and open to the public.
