JFA Presents: Rafik Williamson Quartet
June 11, 2021 6:30 pm - June 11, 2021 8:00 pm
St. Albans Park | Free
Join Parks' Arts, Culture & Fun for an outdoor jazz concert in the park with Rafik Williamson Quartet.
Rafik Williamson has been a professional pianist for over 60 years, having played with greats like Hank Mobley, Lou Donaldson, Archie Shepp, and Pharoah Sanders. Rafik has toured the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, and Japan. This quartet has been a Brooklyn & Queens mainstay for the Jazz Foundation of America for many years.
Presented in partnership with the Jazz Foundation of America.
Please email Shannon.gilstad@parks.nyc.gov to register and note that the concert size is limited and will be on a first come, first-serve basis on the day of the concert.
Feel free to bring a chair or blanket to sit on. (Last year at the St. Albans concert the Queens team set up chairs, if that's the case this year, great since jazz audiences do tend to be older so chairs are very welcome).
St. Albans Park, Queens
Address (Last year it was set up in front of the field house)
The events are FREE and open to the public.
Please note, space is limited due to social distancing requirements and remember to wear a face covering.
