On January 16, the Tomas Janzon Quartet will perform at the National Jazz Museum in Harlem, with a special tribute to Los Angeles drummer Donald Dean. Guitarist Tomas Janzon, recognized for his critically acclaimed albums such as "130th and Lenox" (named one of Downbeat’s Best Albums of 2020) and his latest release "Nomadic" (2023), brings his distinct sound to the museum’s Thursday livestream series.
This event will feature a rare East Coast appearance by Donald Dean, celebrated for his work with Horace Tapscott and Les McCann. The performance starts at 2 PM and can be streamed live from the museum's channels.
