They
are about to be evicted and homeless without our help. They go hungry
and tell no one because they never had to ask for help, they always
worked 6 nights a week, were always self sufficient- always had that
next gig, until they became too old or too ill to tour.

For 20 years, the Jazz Foundation's annual Jazz Loft Party has offered an experience like no other in the music world. Five hours of continuous jazz and blues in three spectacular loft spaces with panoramic views of the Hudson River. It is one of the only occasions in New York City where you can roam free in a beautiful and intimate setting, literally brushing elbows with the greatest of jazz greats (not to mention our celebrity hosts like Danny Glover, Bill Cosby, and Michael Imperioli).
These historic loft parties have featured many great artists who return every year, and many who have passed away. In the Fall of 2008, the great Odetta graced up with her presence. We did not know that this was to be one of her very last performances. Click here to watch this historic set.
JFA's Jazz Loft Party takes place each year in the Fall. It is a private event...and space is limited. Please see below the highlights from 2010 Jazz Loft Party!
