  • Pro Bono Medical Care For Uninsured Musicians

    Since 1994, the Jazz Foundation has provided a pro bono network of physicians and specialists for uninsured musicians in health crisis.

  • Housing and Emergency Assistance

    In 1992, the Jazz Foundation established its first Jazz Musicians Emergency Fund to save musicians from eviction and provide emergency living expenses.

  • Monday Night Jam Series

    Every Monday, the Jazz Foundation helps keep the spirit of the Music alive by hosting a jam session at the musicians' union in midtown Manhattan. The event, produced and funded by the JFA, is free and open to the public.

  • Musicians Legacy Program

    Our Musicians Legacy Program funds one-on-one music lessons by elder established musicians who have recorded and played with the jazz and blues giants and, in many cases, ARE the giants themselves.
