About Native Soul
A hard-swinging collaborative quartet, Native Soul has been a regular on the jazz album charts for over a decade. Featuring Peter Brainin (Saxophone), Noah Haidu (piano), Marcus McLaurine (bass), and Steve Johns (drums), they will present a special Charlie Parker Jazz Festival tribute to Clark Terry, with whom McLaurine played for more than 25 years.
About Keep on Keepin' On
Stay after the concert for a screening of the documentary, Keep on Keepin' On, that follows jazz legend Clark Terry’s mentorship with the 23-year-old blind piano prodigy Justin Kauflin as he prepares to enter in an elite, international competition. Also features Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, and Arturo Sandoval. Directed by Alan Hicks. Rated R.

7:45 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. Movie Screening of Keep on Keepin’ On
Bring your own chair, sitting on the floor is not recommended. Glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. You should arrive before 5:30 p.m. to get your spot. Reservations are not taken, so space is available on a first come first served basis. All are welcome!
