The National Jazz Museum in Harlem and Jazz Foundation of America presents Axel Tosca Trio featuring Xiomara Laugarte for a virtual concert.

"A Cuban jazz pianist who is one of New York City's best young timba musicians" (New York Latin Culture Magazine), Axel Tosca leads a trio that blends progressive Jazz, Cuban Timba, and R&B, with a dash of Hip-Hop. Since its founding in 2018, this group has performed at the NYC Winter Jazzfest, Blue Note-Tokyo, Club Metro-Kyoto, Dizzy’s Club NYC, Birdland, NuBlu Jazz Festival, Minton’s PlayHouse, Polyfold Concert Series, The Queens Library and The Urby. For this event they are joined by Tosca's mother, famed Cuban Trova singer Xiomara Laugart. A founding member of the renowned latin fusion band Yerba Buena, Laugart also played the lead role in the 2007 Off-Broadway musical Celia: The Life and Music of Celia Cruz.
