Join us for an outdoor jazz concert with world class musicians in partnership with the Jazz Foundation of America. Virtuoso organist, pianist and composer Gregory Lewis is a mainstay on the city's jazz, blues and funk scenes. Raving about this project, which brings the compositions of Thelonious Monk to the Hammond organ, Howard Mandel wrote of Lewis: "He's possessed with making music that flies." Lewis' recent work has been acknowledged in the New York Times and Downbeat, and by Chamber Music America.

Presented in partnership with the Jazz Foundation of America, with partial support from the National Endowment for the Arts, New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the City Council.
